New Employees Announcement

In July of 2007, Safety Resources, Inc. added a two new employees to their staff. Terry Pedigo was brought on as a safety specialist and Lisa Varnau was added as Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable.


In February of 2008, Safety Resources, Inc. added an additional three members to their staff. Please join us in welcoming Jeff Olejnik, Michael Dougherty and Shawn Crawford.


SRI Staff go to NYC!!

In December of 2007, the staff members of Safety Resources, Inc. visited New York City to celebrate the holidays. The crew visited places like Times Square, Wall Street, Rockefeller Center, Chinatown, Little Italy, and more. Everyone had a terrific time.


Audio Conference Conducted
April 11, 2006 Kristin VanSoest and Gary Gagliardi were speakers at a nationwide Slips and Falls audio conference. The audio conference was sponsored by Business and Legal Reports (BLR). www.blr.com

The 90-minute audio conference focused practical, simple steps to a successful slip-and-fall accident prevention program. Kristin and Gary focused on the following items to reduce employees’ exposures to slips and falls.

Safety Resources, Inc. Employee Accomplishments

Kristin VanSoest was awarded the Outstanding and Dedicated Vendor Support Award in 2004 and the Outstanding Client Service Award for the years 2004-2007.


Matt McCreery and Chris Hall completed their certifications in Fall Protection Inspections.


Gary Gagliardi completed several Business and Legal Reports Audioconferences on the following topics in 2006 and 2007:

  • Preventing Recurring Accidents
  • Conducting Accident Investigations
  • Safety Trends in 2007
  • How to Develop, Implement and Maintain Effective Safety Committees

Terry Pedigo received certification in 24-hour MSHA New Miner.


Matt McCreery received Com-Train Certification in Tower Climbing and Rescue.


President of Safety Resources, Inc. Receives Outstanding Associate Faculty Award
On April 10, 2003 Robert Baldwin, President of Safety Resources, Inc., was awarded the Outstanding Associate Faculty Award from Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI). Mr. Baldwin has been an Associate Professor for IUPUI in Construction Technology for several years. This award was created by the Purdue School of Engineering and Technology to recognize an outstanding associate faculty member who meets the following criteria: service to department; activities related to the improvement of teaching; student ratings; peer review; letters of recommendation; and has taught a minimum of two sections during the last two academic years. Other areas of consideration include: published works; extracurricular activities; community service; special honors.

SRI Member Receives NFPA Certification
Gary Gagliardi was certified by the NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) Certified Fire Protection Specialist Board as a Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS)
