EVIDENTIARY DOCUMENTS
Why we are training will determine the level of
formality which will be needed in order to
document or provide evidence of the training we
have conducted. REMEMBER - the most important
point!!! As a trainer be able to prove, with
paperwork, that you did what you said you did,
EVERY TIME YOU TRAIN. The standard forms for
proving that training has been conducted are:
attendance records, evidence of understanding
(quiz or test), certificates of participation
and/or completion, and personalized wallet
cards.
CORPORATE COMMUNICATION
In the role of trainers, we are communicators
for our companies. When you stand before a group
to present you are personally seen as a
spokesperson for your company and, the image and
attitude you project is perceived as the image
and attitude of your company.
In the area of safety training you are
establishing the compliance position of the
company. Implementation of safety programs
through the training process establishes the
"defendable position" of our company with
respect to OSHA Compliance.
