A graduate of Indiana University with a B.S. in Occupational Health and Safety Management and an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University, Kristin is a certified OSHA Outreach Instructor for General Industry as well as a Certified Slip and Fall Accident Prevention Specialist.  Kristin now serves as the President of Safety Resources.  Safety Resources is a Certified Woman-Owned Business with the City of Indianapolis, a Certified Woman-Owned Business with the State of Indiana, A Certified Woman-Owned Business with the National Council, and a Certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprise through the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT).

Kristin is a board member (Program Chair) of the Central Indiana Chapter of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE).  She is Chair on the Educational Outreach Committee, and serves on the Non-Construction Certification Committee for Coalition for Construction Safety (CCS, formerly MICCS).  She is a professional member of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), the National Association for Women in Construction (NAWIC) and the International Contact Group for Slips, Trips and Falls.  Kristin has most recently been involved with NAWBO (National Association of Women Business Owners), the Indiana Construction Roundtable (ICR), and the Indiana Subcontractors Association (ISA). She is also a member of the National Association of Professional Women.

Specializing in General Industry, with a focus on the measurement of coefficient of friction on walking/working surfaces, Kristin's article on Slips, Trips and Falls was recently published in the trade magazine Sealant, Waterproofing and Restoration. Kristin has been a recurring speaker for Business and Legal Reports audioconferences, casing Slips and Falls Management as well as OSHA 300 Recordkeeping Laws. She has also been invited as a guest speaker from a local association discussing Accident Investigation Strategies.

Kristin was the moderator for a panel discussion casing OSHA partnerships at the project level, company level and for association involvement in 2011 for the Indiana Construction Association.  She has been a guest speaker for multiple events and organizations, and continues to stay active in the following charities:  TheraPlay, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Indy Do Day, Bosma Enterprises, Toys for Tots and St. Mary’s Child Center.

Kristin received the 2015 “Distinguished Alumni” award from the high school in which she graduated, Caston High School, located in Fulton, IN.  The annual award honors individuals who have achieved measurable success in their professional careers.  She has promised to continue providing advice and guidance to students at the high school level, and she intends to speak to them and answer career-based questions regularly.  Kristin received an "Outstanding and Dedicated Vendor Support" award and the "Outstanding Client Services" award in 2004-2007 from a national client for her insight and risk liability assessments at both the management and operations levels.


Matt McCreeryMatt McCreery

A graduate of Indiana University with a B.S. in Occupational Health and Safety Management, Matt specializes in high hazard industries, such as telecommunication construction, commercial roofing safety, and multi-employer work sites. Matt is an expert in Fall Protection and is a Qualified Fall Protection Systems Inspector. He has also worked extensively with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers EM 385-1-1 Safety and Health Requirement Manual.  Matt has extensive experience developing accident prevention plans and monitoring onsite compliance with Army Corps of Engineers projects, including the ongoing development of Accident Prevention Plans (APP) and Activity Hazard Analyses (AHA).

Matt took a leading role and contributed to receiving the Partnership in Construction, Indiana Governor's Workplace Safety Award, with a major client. He also manages construction liability and overall site safety implementation for a variety of multi-family and commercial projects with a combined valuation of well over 250M in 2014.  To date, he provides safety expertise and direction for multiple general contractors, and also serves as the Director of Business Development for Safety Resources, as his relationships in the industry have proven successful for the overall growth of Safety Resources, Inc.

Matt is a Com-Train Certified in Tower Climbing Safety and Rescue as well as a Certified Competent Person for RF Radiation Safety. He is an active member of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), Metro Indianapolis Coalition for Construction Safety (MICCS) and the Indiana Subcontractor's Association (ISA).  Matt has also been published, with articles titled “Practical Safety Solutions”, which was featured in the October, 2013 issue for the Midwest Roofer as well as “Employer Defenses to OSHA Citations” featured in the August, 2014 issue for the Midwest Roofer.

Matt continues to focus his efforts on growth both individually as well as corporately.  His ongoing business relationships and community outreach has assisted Safety Resources, Inc. with corporate wide expansion and positive growth for the firm.


Chris HallChris Hall

Director of Education & Training
Senior Safety Consultant

Chris is currently the Director Education and Training at Safety Resources, Inc. in Indianapolis, Indiana.  His role in this capacity includes managing the continuing education and training division.  He oversees the development, marketing and implementation of the division and evaluates the programs for continuous improvement.  Chris was instrumental in helping Safety Resources achieve Authorized Provider status through IACET (International Association of Continuing Education and Training), and continues to provide the training and guidance at the management level to ascertain service excellence. 

Additionally, Chris is a support role to the Director of Site Services.  His role in this capacity includes managing employees within the construction safety site services division, overseeing the recruitment, hiring, supervision, and scheduling of staff and working directly with clients to ensure quality of service. This division serves as representation for owners and general contractors on various sized construction projects throughout the United States. 

Chris is an OSHA Authorized Outreach Trainer, a Certified Rigging and Signalperson (CIC), a Qualified Crane Operator Trainee, and conducts a wide range of construction, general industry, and management related safety training.  Some specialized training topics that Chris conducts include OSHA 10 and 30 hour construction courses, Qualified Rigging and Signalperson courses, OSHA’s Multi-Employer Citation Policy, Confined Space, and DOT Regulations.  Chris has presented as a host or guest speaker for BLR audio conferences on a number of topics including: Safety Committees, Fall Protection, Hazard Communication and Safety Program Implementation. He has also presented for a number of trade organizations including the Metro Indianapolis Coalition for Construction Safety (MICCS), Indiana subcontractor’s Association (ISA), Indiana Construction Association (ICA), Allied Construction Industries (ACI), Indiana Water and Environmental Association (IWEA) and Monroe County Builders Association (MCBA).  Chris has been a guest speaker for Indiana University safety and construction management courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels on multiple occasions. Chris has been published by several trade magazines, Construction Executive and Building Indiana.  Most recently, his articles titled “Differentiating between Construction and Maintenance” and “The Training Dilemma” have brought about an abundance industry response.

Additionally, Chris provides safety services to a portfolio of clients.  He specializes in crane operations, trenching and excavation, suspension scaffolding, construction ergonomics, fall protection and general construction site safety requirements, as regulated by OSHA’s Code of Federal Regulations.  He has also serves as Chair of the IWEA (Indiana Water Environment Association) Safety Committee.

Prior to working at Safety Resources, Chris was an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist for Kip Prahl Associates, where he instituted and assisted management with environmental safety programs for over 70 automotive dealerships in Indiana, Kentucky and Michigan.  Within this capacity, Chris performed facility audits based on OSHA, EPA and UFC standards, conducted employee-level training and safety committee meetings, and provided recommendations to senior management as to the gaps within specific clients’ safety programs.
