City of Indianapolis WBE Certification

The Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise Program was established to provide purchasing opportunities to certified Minority and Women-Owned businesses with the City of Indianapolis.

Since January 6, 2011, Safety Resources, Inc. has been certified with the City of Indianapolis in the Professional Services Contractor category, specializing in Safety Consulting Services. This certification is pursuant to the City's Minority & Women Business Utilization Plan, Part B.


 

State of Indiana WBE Certification
 

The Minority and Women’s Business Enterprises Division (MWBE) acts on behalf of the State of Indiana to actively promote, monitor, and enforce the standards for certification of minority and women’s business enterprises The Division was developed in 1983 by the State of Indiana to provide equal opportunity to minority and women enterprises in the state’s procurement and contracting process. Also created was the Governor's Commission on Minority Business Development that is now known as the Governor's Commission on Minority and Women's Business Enterprises. Commission members are advocates for minority and women’s enterprises in state contracting and are active in their respective regions to assist in achieving the MWBE goals for the State of Indiana.

Since April 21, 2011, Safety Resources, Inc. has been certified as a Women's Business Enterprise with the State of Indiana in the following categories: Environmental Safety Services, Safety or Risk Analysis, Safety Training Services, and Occupational Health or Safety Services.

 


 

WBENC Certification

The Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), founded in 1997, is the largest third-party certifier of businesses owned, controlled, and operated by women in the United States. WBENC, a national 501(c)(3) non-profit, partners with 14 Regional Partner Organizations to provide its world class standard of certification to women-owned businesses throughout the country. WBENC is also the nation's leading advocate of women-owned businesses as suppliers to America's corporations.

Since July 22, 2011, Safety Resources, Inc. has been certified with the National Women's Business Enterprise National Council.  This certification affirms the business is woman-owned, operated and controlled.
