MARION COUNTY INDIANA PUBLIC HEALTH ORDER 20-2020

On Thursday, July 2, 2020, Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett issued an order which mandates face coverings in public spaces. The order commenced on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at 8:00 AM. This order was issued in an effort to continue to curb the spread of COVID-19. This order goes along with guidance issued by Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb and his #MaskUpHoosiers public health campaign.

Beginning July 1, 2020, Indiana law will prohibit drivers holding mobile devices, such as smartphones and tablets, in their hands while driving to reduce distracted driving and improve safety on Hoosier roadways.
